Publish date: 2024-05-31

On the 4th of July, military members, veterans and their families enjoyed the first-ever “Base*FEST Powered by USAA” at Camp Lejeune.

Lifehouse and Brett Young headlined the show, with additional performances by Chord Overstreet, Muddy Magnolias, Temecula Road, and DJ SpinDoc.

“Music is a powerful connector bringing military members from different backgrounds closer together and increasing camaraderie,” said Steve Cochran, USAA’s associate vice president for military affinity development and sponsorships, last month. “Many bases are in less-populated areas where top acts don’t often tour. USAA is investing in Base*FEST to create family-friendly music festival experiences for military to show our appreciation in a way that’s never been done before.”

Base*FEST is designed to bring a music festival experience to military bases worldwide through live events, programming and memorable performances. Working with USAA, TTF Entertainment is planning on creating multiple events for military installations and endeavor to expand to multi-day events.
