He was born on February 10, 1997 with his birthplace listed as Manhattan Beach, California. Growing up, Rosen was always into sports. He started playing tennis at the age of 12. He was really good at it and gained a lot of recognition for his skills. He continued to play tennis until he later turned to football before enrolling in high school.
As a student of St. John Bosco High School, Rosen gained much recognition for his exceptional playing prowess. With 90 touchdowns and passing for 11,175 yards, he has been ranked on various platforms as the best of the best. Rivals.com rated him a five-star rookie, and he was rated best-in-class quarterback by Scout.com. He also won the Los Angeles Times Player of the Year as well as the Dream Beach Press-Telegram Dream Team Player of the Year.
After high school, Rosen went to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He quickly became a quarterback for UCLA and played in the spring of 2014.
