Austin Mitchell Dies in Highway 71 Accident involving a Beet Truck

The unfortunate death of a FedEx driver from Gering, Nebraska, occurred in a car accident. A fatal collision on Thursday claimed the life of Gering High School alumnus Austin Mitchell.

The terrible collision took place on Highway 71 North from Kimball. In response to a complaint of a crashed truck, law enforcement authorities were called to the area.

The Kimball Nebraska Police Department said that a FedEx truck and a Beet truck were both involved in the fatal collision. The FedEx truck’s driver reportedly rear-ended the Beet truck, according to reports. Numerous organisations arrived to the location of the tragedy.

An active young man, Austin Mitchell was noted as being athletic. He was a driver for FedEx as well as a distributor for Mountain Man Nut & Fruit Co.

The horrific accident resulted in the being declared dead. Authorities claim that the involved truck was not turned over. Just north of Kimball on Highway 71, close to the Beet dump turn-off, one driver passed away from their wounds. Law enforcement agencies arrived at the scene, and the HWY 71 was shut down for investigations.
